Sustainable Crop-Based Solutions
Beyond Hemp: Scaling Regenerative Solutions
Wandarra is redefining sustainability by transforming diverse crops into high-value, market-ready products. As a leader in sustainable transformation systems, we move beyond hemp to create eco-friendly materials, plant-based nutrition, and regenerative packaging solutions. By integrating advanced biomanufacturing and circular economy principles, we ensure that every part of the crop is utilised efficiently minimising waste while maximising impact. Our approach blends innovation, environmental responsibility, and scalable production, providing industries with sustainable alternatives that drive both profitability and long-term ecological benefits.
Wandarra reached a major milestone in December 2025 with the launch of its new HulkBuild headquarters and circular manufacturing facility in Bohle, Townsville. This purpose-built facility marks the company’s transition from research and development into commercial-scale production, enabling Wandarra to test, validate and scale sustainable building products, replacement of single use plastic packaging with fibre and expand its food and edible oil product range in real-world conditions and demonstrating confidence in the region’s feedstock, research capability and innovation-led industry ecosystem.
